A Top Talent

Bert enjoyed his football and often played to packed houses.  Crowds being locked outside stadiums was often a common sight.  He was fortunate enough to be a part of a team of lads who were the “tops” in Bert’s eyes.

Between the years 1950 and 1960 Wolves were Champions three times, they finished second three times and finished third twice, an exemplary record.  Bert retired in 1957 but was always proud to say that he was a small part of Stan Cullis’s string of Championship winners.  Here are a few more action shots of the great man.
